Vinnitsa Niva, who plays in the second league, was led by a new coach.

The team will be coached in the second round by a former Ngaha Collins club player. A 37-year-old Ukrainian captain of Cameroonian descent was captain Niva in the 2016/17 season, after which he completed his career.

Collins became the first coach of Cameroonian origin from Ukraine. It should be noted that Collins obtained Ukrainian citizenship in 2017.

After the first round, Niva is fourth in the first leg in Group A, trailing by four points behind Mina and Polissya, leaders of the group.
