Just under two dozen protesters demonstrated for about an hour in front of the AMC Patton Creek movie theater in Hoover on Sunday night.

Protesters arrived at the theater around 7 pm and dispersed shortly after 8 pm
Activist Carlos Chaverst Jr. called the agents "terrorists" because the mall agents were not wearing badges. He also called the officers "klansmen". About 12 officers stood on the sidewalk in front of the theater to prevent protesters from entering, including three black officers.
"You help and encourage a terrorist act," said Chaverst.
He went on to say that the protesters would go to schools and police homes. "We will go to all the necessary places until the terrorist is identified in this police department."
The protesters called on people to stop spending their money on Hoover and to buy money. Holiday gifts in other shops. areas in the Birmingham area. They also demanded justice for Molly, the 12-year-old girl who was shot in the back during Thanksgiving night.
When the protesters arrived, the police said the theater was no longer selling tickets for the rest of the night. .
The Sunday night demonstrations mark the fourth time that demonstrations have been held in the Hoover business since the Thanksgiving night.

On Friday, protesters held a party at the mall and laid a wreath in memory of E.J. in front of Footaction. The stores were closed and some of the lights were turned off at the mall while the protesters entered.
