1. Trump says that he will "probably" declare the urgency if there is no agreement on the wall
Today, the closure of the government is the longest link in the history of the United States.
President Donald Trump is still claiming billions of dollars for the construction of a wall along the southern border of the country, and he is getting closer to the possibility of declaring a national emergency to do so.
"I have not done it yet," he told reporters on Thursday before heading to McAllen, Texas to visit the border. "I can do it, if it does not work I'll probably do it, I'll say almost definitely."
Matt Gutman, national correspondent for ABC News, joins us from the border of Mission, Texas, and tells us that the White House is already preparing the ground for the army to build the wall.
If Trump declares a national emergency, he may face opposition from supporters of his own party, according to ABC News's Trish Turner: "Even Republicans agree that it's a very risky route that you take as well. " you are trying to end a negotiation that is not going your way. "

Michael Cohen, former lawyer and mediator of the President, agreed to testify under oath at Capitol Hill, giving what he calls a "full and credible account of the events that took place ".
A hearing is scheduled for February 7 and questions will be limited so as not to interfere with Cohen's cooperation with Special Advocate Robert Mueller, according to the House Monitoring and Reform Committee Chair , Elijah Cummings.
Still, notes ABC News political director Rick Klein, Cohen's testimony could be "a very big deal".
"He talked to us a lot," Klein tells us, "but he never told his story under oath before Congress."
In December, Cohen was sentenced to three years in federal prison for financial crimes, lying to Congress and two offenses under the Election Finances Act in connection with the payment of money hidden to two women who claimed to have relations with Trump.
Cohen must go to jail in early March.
