Texas mother arrested for allegedly selling young children

A Texan mother was arrested for selling her young children.

Esmeralda Garza, 29, was arrested by officials from the Texas Public Security Department Friday after she allegedly sold her 7-year-old boy to two men, reported KRIS-TV. Garza was also selling two more children – a two-year-old girl and a three-year-old daughter – according to authorities.

The arrest occurred after the DPS agents executed a search warrant. to KIII-TV

Garza, of Corpus Christi, was charged with selling or buying a child, which is a third-degree crime. She is held on bail of $ 100,000 at Nueces County Jail, reported KRIS

Another Man and a woman were also arrested in the raid, although it is not clear whether they were involved in the alleged drug activity or the sale of children.

Police expect to file additional fees, KRIS reported.
