Scientists continue to play with the destiny of humanity. This time, the British company DeepMind tested the artificial intelligence of AlphaStar, forcing it to compete against professional players in StarCraft 2.

The German cyber-matchman TLO and the Polish player MaNa spoke out against the British AI . Unfortunately, for people, and fortunately for scientists, AlphaStar has won the players, but with indulgence. AI gave access to the map, while the player review ended the fog of war. When DeepMind set the standard limit for the magnitude of the visible area, MaNa defeated the opponent.

According to the cyber-runners, AlphaStar has behaved in an unpredictable way, constantly deceiving the players. They simply could not predict his actions and made strategic mistakes. As a result, MaNa noticed that the AI often turned to the defense even though it made no sense. Then the guy decided to put all the forces on the AlphaStar base and won.

The last time, such an experiment was conducted by the research laboratory Ilona Maska. The scientists checked the artificial intelligence of OpenAI in Dota 2, but the computer then withstood the ordinary players. The game ended with a score of 2: 1 in favor of AI.
