At the end of June, Asus introduced the ZenFone Max Pro (M1) smartphone, a long-standing device. The device has pure OS Android 8.1 Oreo, and during the announcement, the representatives of the company promised to update to the latest version of Android – 9.0. Unfortunately, the conditions for the release of the new firmware have not been reported, but they are already known.

A user directly requested technical support and responded. It turned out that Android 9.0 Pie is already tested by the software development department, which will be made available to users in the form of an upgrade by air by the end of the February. While this is a version of the ZB601KL for the Indian market, but it is logical to think that the global version of the model, the ZB602KL, will be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie in the same terms.
