The EBRD increased its share from 7 to 22% in the first privately owned brewery founded in Lviv by Andriy Mathola This was reported by LigaBusiness in reference to EBRD press service.
The Bank acquired a stake in Oasis CIS and owns the second largest package of the company after the founder and CEO of the Andrey Matsoly brewery. Another part of the shares is split between the Oettinger concern and the managing partners of the Oasis CIS group.

The brewery will receive an envelope of 21, 6 million dollars, which, according to the shareholder, will help strengthen the company's capital and meet its working capital and investment needs
The EBRD recalls that it began to invest in the company there are 10 years. Then there was talk of measures to increase the energy efficiency of the main production facilities of the first private brewery.

The first private brewery was established in 2004 and remained a family business until January 2012. The company manages production in Lviv and in Radomyshl in the Zhytomyr region.
In addition to beer, the EBRD invests in Lviv's electrical transport in Lvivvodokanal and deals with waste problems.
