Fiscally, the "deal" is a deliberate deception of the electorate. Lying to people is bad. Democrats frequently condemn President Trump for his flexible relationship with the truth. And often, they have a legitimate argument to do it. To claim that the Green New Deal costs nothing is a colossal lie.

Even if we assume that Ocasio-Cortez and its growing base of Democratic Party supporters are serious about removing America from fossil fuels in the next 10 years, their assertion that it would be easy to do so is equally scandalous.
