The Green New Deal is not just silly, it's immoral

T e New Deal Green of the Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Had a lot of mockery, but that should be balanced with a good dose of contempt. The plan is not just silly. It's also immoral.

Idiocy was well established in the first 24 hours. Calling the end of air travel or free economic support for people "reluctant" to work, or claiming that tens of billions of dollars in new costs are actually benefits, the agreement is intellectually unsustainable.

But as I said, it is also immoral.

Fiscally, the "deal" is a deliberate deception of the electorate. Lying to people is bad. Democrats frequently condemn President Trump for his flexible relationship with the truth. And often, they have a legitimate argument to do it. To claim that the Green New Deal costs nothing is a colossal lie.

But let's dig deeper into the details here. Even if we assume that Ocasio-Cortez and its growing base of Democratic Party supporters are serious about removing America from fossil fuels in the next 10 years, their assertion that it would be easy to do so is equally scandalous. Once again, the fundamental reality suggests that the reconfiguration of each building in each city and city of the country would be both impractical and incredibly complicated. Leave only extortion for families. But this is just one example of the bad faith that characterizes this agreement.

On the other hand, let us take the claim of the agreement to provide "high quality" health care provided by the government, without it being necessary to provide a "high quality" health care. raise taxes for the middle class. The reality of any socialized medical system on Earth suggests that the controversy of agreement here is totally unrealistic. The same concern applies to most of the disproportionate, even absurd, benevolent promises of the government. In domestic politics, conservatives must constantly challenge Democrats, saying their policies are inherently moral. Just like icebergs, their attractive exteriors often hide very dangerous realities.
