In the park on Trinkler Street in the center of Kharkov opened a monument to the actress Lyudmila Gurchenko.
The height of the monument – more than 7.5 meters. At the bottom of the monument are sculptures of 15 characters in six films starring Lyudmila Gurchenko, the press service of the city of Kharkiv
Above them lies the sculpture of the actress she -even. The work on the monument lasted for about two years

Lyudmila Gurchenko was born on November 12, 1935 in Kharkiv [19659002] In 1943 I went to the No. 6 Ukrainian School (now – Gymnasium Mariinsky). The school was in the yard of the house, where she was living then. In the autumn of 1944, Lyudmila Gurchenko joined the Beethoven Music School. In 1953, after graduation, she traveled to Moscow, where she entered VGIKU
Gurchenko died on March 30, 2011 in Moscow because of heart failure.
