The OSIRIS-REx space probe from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has entered the orbit of Benn, one of the most dangerous asteroids on the planet Earth. This is stated in a NASA mission statement on Twitter.
"Be in orbit around Bennu for the first time!" – says in a message.

The Bennu asteroid is one of the relatively close-to-space objects whose probability of collision with the Earth is considered sufficiently high. Scientists believe that the asteroid can pass dangerously close to the Earth in about 150 years.
The launch of the OSIRIS-REx station took place on September 8th, 2016 and, in December, the probe was approached by the asteroid. It is estimated that the achievements of the asteroid and the ground harvest will take place in 2019, then that the return to Earth will take place in 2023.
A ground test will be conducted with the help of 39, a robotic arm manipulator of 3 meters. The probe itself will not descend to Benn's surface.
