In 2018, 4.25 million sedans were sold in the United States, as reported by Volkswagen USA on its Twitter page. Referring to such sales, the company introduced a new generation Passat tester.
Judging by the 19-inch ContiPro Continental tire, Volkswagen decided to showcase the sporty performance of the Passat R-Line, while the other modifications received 17- and 18-inch wheels.
If you are talking about more serious changes, they will not appear in the new Passat …. The car will preserve the old platform and the old turbocharger of 2 liters of 174 hp, but with a couple increased.
The version of the new Volkswagen Passat will be installed at the Chattanooga, Tennessee factory where it manufactured the previous generation sedan and led the crossover assembly of the Volkswagen Atlas.
