Rescuers during the crackdown on the site of an explosion in a residential building in the city of Shahty Rostov revealed the body of the girl who became the fifth victim of this tragedy. This was reported to the Russian agency TASS at the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia, informs UNN .
"Rescuers were discovered and released from under the rubble of the last, who perished.The search operation was over," said the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The gas explosion in a nine-storey residential building in the Rostov region occurred on 14 January in the morning. As a result, the 9th and 8th floors collapsed. Seven people were saved, five died. According to the Ministry of Emergencies, four apartments were destroyed, two on the ninth floor and two in the eighth, according to the explosion. At the time of the explosion in the apartments of the second entrance of the affected building, there were 55 people. 43 people were evacuated, seven of them were saved, two of them were hospitalized, including one child born in 2017.
