There is no snowflake in the Atlanta subway, but rain is beginning to penetrate the region as part of a system that could cover the streets of ice, according to Channel 2 Action News.
In Dade, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, and Walker counties, only rain falls in Douglas and Paulding counties, said Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan.
"Temperatures still too hot for any snow on the subway" now he said.
This could change at 11 am, when Monahan is expecting a mixture of rain and snow in and around the Atlanta subway and "some minor accumulations possible".
