Solnier managed to take only two episodes before leaving the series, the other six being divided between Saccheme and Pizzolatto.

The first season of the series is considered one of the most successful in the history of American television. It has a 87% rating on the Metacritic website, and the audience is 9.2 out of 10. Curie Fukunaga (first season) won the award for best director of the drama series, Emmy. "Star Trek: Discovery", Season 2 – January 17

The series was released in 2017 on the CBS channel and the world premiere took place on September 24 on the Netflix platform . The fictional universe of Star Trek is at the heart of history and the new season has become a precedent of the original version, the first series of director Gina Roddenbury in 1966.
