KYIV. December 8th UNN. Mexican Vanessa Ponce won the 68th Miss World Contest – 2018, which took place in Sanya, the spa town of Painny in China. Passes UNN with reference to TASS.
Girls aged 18 to 26 from 118 countries and regions of the world participated in this year's competition. Miss World has been held in Sanya since 2011. The last stage of the contest lasted three hours and consisted of several parts. The girls danced in national costumes, videos of intermediate stages of the competition were also presented to the public: during the month preceding the final in Sanya, there were sports competitions, a dresses contest in evening dress, a demonstration of charitable projects and a talent contest.
Taking into account all the achievements of the participants, the jury announced 30 candidates to the crown, then 12 and finally identified the top five, among which representatives of Belarus, Mexico, Thailand, the 39, Uganda and Jamaica.
