The World Scuba Diving Championship has been completed in Belgrade (Serbia)
At the level of the Ukrainians, 6 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 3 medals of bronze, as well as the 3rd place of the team. The press service of the Sports Committee of Ukraine informs
This year's performance was the best in the history of the national team. A total of 275 athletes from 49 countries participated in the competition. The Ukraine was represented by 21 athletes
The world champions became Ukrainians Danylo Kolodyazhny (100 m whitewash), Alexander Odinokov (1500 m in the flanks), Eugene Stepanchuk (200 m in the white towers ), Alex Zakharov (800m in the flanks), Aleksei Zakharov (6000m in the flanks, open water)
Eugene Oleynikov, Krysten Musienko, Alexander Odinokov, Alexei Zakharov won the "Gold" in the mixed relay race in 4 x 2000m
Yevgeniya Oleynikova won the Silver Awards (1500m pinballs), Anastasia Antonyak (200m in the flanks), Denis Grubnik (400m with scuba diving), Eugenia Oleynikova (800m in the flanks) and a mixed team of Arthur Artamonov, Danylo Kolodyazhny, Irina Pikiner, Margarita Smirnova (4x100m relay race in bleaching).
Alexei Zakharov (400m swimming in the flanks), Daniel Kolodyazhniy (50m in the White Towers) and a 4x200m relay team in the flanks of Elizabeth Wakareva, Christina Musienko, Yana Trofimets and Anastasia Antonyak became world championship bronze medalists in Belgrade.
