KYIV. February 4th UNN. The Venezuelan opposition leader, Huang Guaido, expects the country's armed forces to provide him with massive support. He announced tonight in an interview with the Spanish television channel Antena3, informs UNN .
"We have never spoken so clearly to the military," said the politician. – We expect (from them) a mass support, (remaining) on the side of the constitution, the need to hold elections and put an end to the usurpation of power. I think we'll see similar things soon. Earlier, Guaido said the opposition was holding secret meetings with the armed and security forces in the republic, promising them an amnesty in the event of a move to the opposition.
Hours before the beginning of the demonstrations, on February 2, head of the strategic planning of Venezuela General Francisco Esteban Janes Rodríguez declared that he had recognized Guaido as acting president.
As reported UNN Maduro urged the Leader of the Opposition not to cause further damage to Venezuela.
