Xiaomi Mi A2 users who attempted to install the January security patch have encountered a serious problem: the smartphone is going through an infinite reboot cycle. The reasons for this error are unclear and Xiaomi has not yet proposed a solution.
The problem comes from the AndroidPure resource, referring to the complaints users have left on the Reddit forum. The failure of the reboot is not huge, but the number of complaints is gradually increasing in the MIUI forums and social networks.
When you try to get the smartphone out of this state by starting in safe mode, an error is reported. A number of users indicated that they were not able to solve the problem while using MiFlash, while others indicate that ADB commands do not are not available in fast boost mode.
Some users also reported that repeated attempts to turn on the device had solved the problem. Others point out that restoring factory settings has allowed them to cope with the mistake. There are those who did not test the fate and went to the service center with help.
It remains to be hoped that Xiaomi will correct the problem and that users will not have to look for solutions to exit Mi A2 from a cyclic restart.
