On Wednesday, December 26, President Donald Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melanie Trump, visited US troops in Iraq.

As CNN notes, Trump's journey was shrouded in mystery. After an overnight flight from Washington, his plane landed on an air base west of Baghdad in the guise of darkness.
For the first time, Trump was in a combat zone to go to a combat zone.
