Two people were killed Saturday by a small plane that crashed against the roof of a children's therapy center in a warehouse district near the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, said officials.
The victims, who have not yet been identified, are the pilot and a passenger. The accident set fire to the autism treatment center but none of the children inside was injured, according to emergency battalion spokesman, Fort Guderan. Steven Gollan.

The flames were heavy at first, but rescue from Fort Lauderdale controlled them, officials said.
The plane crashed against the roof located on the north side of the building just east of the airport.
The plane – a Cessna 335 – broke down shortly after takeoff from the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
