Ukraine and the OSCE have proposed, during the negotiations in Minsk, to institute a new regime of silence in Donbass, said the representative of Ukraine within the Humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group, Irina Gerashchenko, on her Facebook page. She stressed that it could be the "18th truce attempt".

The current armistice was announced on August 29 in the north of the country.

Previously, similar silent regimes were also not respected and the parties were accused of being raped mutually.

Due to the Russian hybrid aggression in eastern Ukraine from April 2014 in the region, more than 10 000 people by the end of 2017 – since then, no new data has been announced.
