The fifth victim of multiple shootings remains in an extremely critical state after an emergency surgery at the Atlanta Medical Center on Friday morning.

Polk County coroner Tony Brazier said the victim, whose name has not yet been released, will remain alive this morning in the latest update that Brazier received from doctors from Trauma Surgery Department of Atlanta Medical Center.

The police have not yet revealed the names of four other victims who were shot dead around 8 pm. Thursday night.
