Volkswagen to build eight electric vehicle manufacturing plants

In total, the company plans to launch up to eight new companies in the next few years – one in the United States (in Chattanooga) and the Czech Republic (Mlada Boleslav ), four in Germany (Emden, Hanover, Zwickau and Dresden) and two in China Anting and Foshan). All of these companies will be able to produce more than one million electric cars by 2025.
