In Ukraine, in the fourth quarter of last year, Xiaomi became a leader, with a share of 26.7%. With this indicator, he moved to second place Samsung, pushing the South Korean supplier by 0.2%. Among the five companies that sell smartphones in Ukraine, there are four Chinese companies: Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu and the sub-brand Huawei Honor.
In Europe, since the middle of last year, Xiaomi has launched offline outlets for its smartphones in Western Europe. If 800 million smartphones were sold in 2017, they were already 4.1 million in 2018, which represents an increase of 415.1%. In Spain, Xiaomi took third place with a 273.4% increase in supply.
Analysts predict that this year Xiaomi will further strengthen its position in Europe. HMD Global (Nokia) and Huawei have also improved their position. Sales of Samsung and Apple have been scrutinized, although they remain leaders in terms of deliveries.
