Official description

"Trainers can have the chance to work on their Johto Pokédex during their explorations and raids. Put on your walking shoes because Pokémon never seen before in Eggs in Pokémon GO will hatch during this period. "

Awards

  • If you are extremely lucky, you can hatch the unused forms U, L, T, R and A from 10 km of eggs.
  • Raikou, Entei and Suicune will return to the raids with other Johto Pokémon.
  • If you are lucky, you could meet Shiny Sentret and Shiny Gligar!
  • 2 × incubator efficiency during this period

Guide and Event Priorities

Although Week 1 is arguably the least exciting Ultra Bonus Week, there are some great things that will keep things interesting. The Shining Hunt is the name of the game, so take a look at Liam's super bright hunting methods in Pokemon Go – ### Part 1 article.

Priority

  1. Catch a new bright Pokemon: Sentret and Gligar. Sentret and Gligar are the two new highlights of the event and should be easier to obtain during the event than after. The sentret is a widespread species, but Gligar could be a little tricky. We suggest you check them every time. Furret is an extremely tough opponent in coach battles.
  2. Maximize the use of the incubator. With the efficiency of the incubator being doubled during the event, we advise you to keep the free incubator active as much as possible. With Adventure Sync (make sure it's on!) And a good walk, you should win a large amount of Stardust just from the hatch.
  3. Raikou Farm Candy. Believe it or not, Raikou is one of the most powerful types of electricity to date and will likely remain so for years. Entei and Suicune being lower-level attackers – there is much better Fire and L & # 39; water guys out there – Raikou is the only one worth going for a raid. Johto Beasts can be brilliant, which is also an advantage!
  4. Recover the unowned letters: ULTRA. It goes without saying, but still – if you can, find as many 10-km eggs as you can. Unown is always a good market value, especially at GO Fest and Safari Zone events, where people will exchange a delusional Pokemon for a missing Unown letter.
  5. Fill in your Johto Pokedex gaps. Although most of our readers have completed their Johto Pokedex a few months ago, we are certain that there is someone who has at least one shadow in this section. Fix it!

Johto Pokemon outstanding to watch

The following Pokémon in the Johto area are considered good PvP or PvE captures, so be sure to catch some if possible:

Pokemon GO MarillMarill

Azumarill is incredibly powerful in the Big League, so every Marill you catch the potential to become a threat. Look for good IV PvP and do not think twice.

Pokemon GO PinecoPineco

The evolution of Pineco – Forretress – is one of the most powerful Pokémon of the Great League, since it has been blessed with the legendary Steel typing. Make sure you get a few during the event, it's a staple in PvP.

Pokemon GO SneaselSneasel

Evolved in Weavile, a DPS Dark and Ice High Density Glass Cannon. Good for some raids, sometimes fun to fight.

Pokemon GO SlugmaSlugma

The boring fire snail still lives under the name of Magcargo in the Big League, where it surprisingly opposes the types of Forretress and Fire. Strange typing, niche use.

Pokémon GO SwinubSwinub

Swinub is moving towards Piloswine and Mamoswine, the best type of ice we currently have in Pokemon GO. Mamoswine is of an absurd force, make sure to grow swinub sweets if you can.

Pokémon GO SkarmorySkarmory

Flying Steel Great League problem. Get a good one, spend some dust, keep it and cherish it. Skarmory is ranked 5th Best Pokemon in the Big League by PvPoke.com. It's pretty good for one of the worst PvE Pokémon in the Johto area (no laughs)!

Pokemon GO LarvitarLarvitar

There is no "I have enough Larvitar sweets". Tyranitar is one of the most versatile Pokémon ever to be added in Pokemon GO, and Larvitar candy making is the only viable way to fight the tyrant army. Do not jump!
