Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be remastered for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The games will be bundled into a single product called Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. A launch window for the beginning of 2022 has been given. The announcement was made Thursday during PlayStation Showcase 2021, and accompanied by a gameplay trailer.

The Uncharted series was released in 2007 and has remained exclusive to the PlayStation console for most of its lifespan. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was released in 2016 and won numerous Game of the Year awards. This is the final story of protagonist Nathan Drake’s arc, and apparently the show’s conclusion.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was released in 2017 and tells the story of Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. It was the first Uncharted game not to feature Nathan Drake. In our review, we called it “a celebration of the show’s past and a nod to a possible future.”

Both games are being built by PlayStation Studios in cooperation with their original developer, Naughty Dog. No final release date has been announced.
