20th Century Fox released the first trailer of the sci-fi thriller Sea-Set Submarine. Written by Brian Duffield and Adam Cozad, the film follows a team of underwater researchers who are forced to shelter after an earthquake that devastated their underground lab, triggering a dangerous and inhuman force. Kristen Stewart fills the lead with an impressive set that also includes Vincent Cassel, John Gallagher Jr., and Jessica Henwick.
The film is made by William Eubank, who directed the 2014 film, which makes the eyes vibrate The signal, and indeed there are some striking visuals here. The images on the screen have a claustrophobic character that could prove effective in a theater, but there are also small things that seem a little foggy. Although I suppose this is the reality of the situation when you are seven miles deep in the ocean.
I do not know what to do with it yet, but this is Stewart's biggest project for some time now (except The angels of Charlie, of course) and she always makes interesting choices, so I have the impression that she has enough reasons to look at this one.
Watch the Submarine trailer below, followed by the first pictures and the first poster of the film. The film will be released on January 10, 2020.
