For the first time in about two years, there is no match this week on college football with two of the top 25 teams. This does not mean that you have to go to the third week. There is still a lot of action on Saturday, and given the huge differences that are prevalent everywhere, the potential for strange things is certainly there.
Consider that eight of the top 25 teams play in real road games in the third week, including five of the top 10. Even with some of the gaps, the probability tells us that at least one or two of these games will be tighter than the Vegas projects. During week 3, be sure to check often below, as we will keep you informed of the latest findings, stories and highlights to watch.

Sparty, no!
Arizona State running back Eno Benjamin scored a goal at 10-7 to give the Sun Devils a 10-7 lead over the Michigan State at East Lansing. The fireworks were just beginning. The Spartans quickly made their way to the 24-meter Arizona State line and lined up on the eventual scoring goal with six seconds to go. Matt Coghlin made a 42-yard placement, but the Spartans were accused of having 12 men on the court. Then, it happened …
Arizona State held the 10-7 win in an old-fashioned slugfest.
Iowa and the state of Iowa are waiting for late time
The annual rivalry match between Iowa and the state of Iowa started at the time but did not last long because the lightning around the Jack Trice stadium has delayed the match. Iowa State leads 7-3 on the strength of a gadget game, which was the only highlight of the day. Due to hail fears en route, the game is currently delayed and the time to resume it has not been set yet.
Of course, we do not know when the game will resume, but at least the students present have found a way to pass the time.
Penn State survives Pitt, a game that scores little
It would not be a big match with a very well ranked opponent if Pitt did not make things interesting at least. Still, the Panthers were painfully beaten in a 17-10 loss to Penn State. The biggest movement of events occurred in the fourth quarter when the Panthers, after a touchdown and facing a goal and goal of the line at 1 yard, opted for a 19-yard placement. Kicker kicker Alex Kessman missed his shot, proving once again that a team is better off in these situations. Nevertheless, needing a touchdown in relation to the position on the ground is not a debate. In any case, Penn State wins and advances.
Maryland stunned by missed opportunities in Temple defeat
Remember how Maryland scored 142 points in the first two weeks? It was good enough to lead the nation in points per game, but it was not relevant against Temple. The Terps had no offensive points in the first period and safety was the only reason they were on the board as the Owls were 7-2 at halftime. Things got a little better in the second half with two touchdowns in the third quarter, but Temple had an answer to everything. In the end, Maryland fell from 20 to 17 years and the missed opportunities will haunt them. The Terps had no points on three outings in the red zone, including two inside the 10-yard line. It's like this that we lose a match.
Ohio State Cruise on the Road Against Indiana
The first road games of the season can be difficult, even for the most talented teams. This was not the case with the state of Ohio, which won a 51-10 win over Indiana. Once again, the Buckeyes quarterback, Justin Fields, was a touch machine with four total scores, including three in the first half. However, the big surprise was receiver Chris Olave, who had 70 yards, a touchdown and even a blocked punt.
Georgia fans wear pink to support the Arkansas State
There is not much to say about Georgia's match against Arkansas State in the field. The Bulldogs took care of business early with a 55-0 win. The most common story is how Georgia fans rose in pink to support Red Wolves coach Blake Anderson and his late wife Wendy. Anderson's wife, tragically, for 27 years died of breast cancer in August. The "Wear Pink for Wendy" campaign is another reminder of what is great in humanity.
A Tennessee group rocks the homemade t-shirt of a fourth-grade fan
The Tennessee group will have a slightly different look for Saturday's game against Chattanooga. A better look, you could say. The group will wear a t-shirt design that went viral this week thanks to a fourth-grade student in Florida. Throughout history, the boy went to school at the "College Colors Day" with a piece of paper bearing the inscription "UT" on his shirt. The story drew attention after the kid was bullied for his homemade shirt, but the end result was amazing while Tennessee offered him a four-year fellowship and admission once he has finished high school. Here is a picture of the group wearing the boy's shirt:
Just a reminder: even when people seem to be the worst, they can really be the best.
Oklahoma State pays tribute to T. Boone Pickens
The Oklahoma State football team will pay tribute to the latest mega donor, T. Boone Pickens, on Saturday and for the rest of the season, with a special "BOONE" sticker stuck on the backs of Cowboys helmets. Pickens, a billionaire who has donated more than $ 650 million to the university over the years, died this week at home this week in Dallas, Texas. He was 91 years old.
