University seniors will play in a 3-on-3 tournament in Minneapolis


CHICAGO – The college senior star teams will be competing for a $ 150,000 prize at a 3-on-3 tournament prior to this year's NCAA National Championship game.

The national championship Dos Equis 3X3U, announced Monday, will be played at the Mall of America in Minneapolis from April 5th to 7th.

Only players who have exhausted eligibility for the NCAA may participate. The championship team will win a spot at the USA Basketball 3X3 National Championship in May

Last year's tournament was won by Robert Johnson's Big Ten team from Indiana, Nate Mason of Minnesota, Jae's Sean Tate from the state of California. Ohio and Vincent Edwards of Purdue.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will include three-on-three basketball as a medal sport for the first time.
