What about children?

SPOILERS AHEAD for Avengers: Endgame.

While Avengers: Endgame saw Black Widow lead the Avengers after the 5-year-old jump that followed Thanap's Snap, a first version of the script put it "at the head of the DC organization that was in charge of orphans ".

Via TheWrap, Avengers: The directors of Endgame, Joe and Anthony Russo, appeared in the Slate podcast "The Gist" and explained how a draft project had attempted to deal with "the idea that a quarter of children do not have parents ".

"One thing we talked a lot about – and found it very deep, but it was almost too big an idea for us to discuss, but we tried for a while – that's the idea that a quarter of the children do not have parents, "said director Anthony Russo.

"Assuming you started with two parents. So there are many orphans in the world. Just the staggering number of that. I believe that at a very early stage in development, Black Widow was actually running the DC organization that was in charge of the orphans. That was what she was heading for five years later. But yes, it's fascinating when you start losing it, "added Joe.

Although this scenario did not unfold for one reason or another, an equally sad scene occurred when we lost Black Widow while she and Hawkeye were trying to recover the Soul Stone.

Avengers: Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, Endgame writers, discussed the decision to bring down Black Widow and how [their] spirits, had ended if she could recover the Avengers. "

While his death was shocking, it also raises the question of what his next solo film will be about. According to reports, it will be a sequence game after the first Avengers film and, who knows, we could even learn more about what happened in Budapest.
