Update Google Pixel 3 – The budget rival of this phone may have just been unmasked

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were released at the end of last year and remain one of the best Android devices, especially for those looking for a camera and quality software.

As is the case with the range of smart phones of the American giant of technology, the Pixel 3 is available in two models; the standard Pixel 3 and larger Pixel 3 XL.

Both devices are currently sold 150 euros at their starting price, thanks to a sale of Google, which makes them even more attractive.

Although the Pixel 3 bonus is currently on sale, it looks like the hardware is about to be challenged by a new Google budget rival itself.

According to rumors, the US technology giant would work hard on two new low-budget Pixel 3 devices.

Called respectively Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, it seems that both parties are about to compromise in terms of features and design in order to obtain a more attractive price.

Rumors about a cheaper Pixel 3 device began last November when the Russian outlet Rozetked showed claimed images of the handset.

It was shown that the hardware was a lot like the standard Pixel 3, but it came with thicker frames above and below its screen, a plastic case, and was equipped with a Snapdragon 670 processor .

It was emphasized that the area of the rear camera was one of the areas in which the handset did not compromise, as on the standard Pixel 3.

If this is true, it could provide the cheaper device with a unique selling point compared to its competitors.

New images of the claimed Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL have now emerged from Android titles and may have given Google fans their best preview of the device so far.

The pair proved to be incredibly similar, the Pixel 3a XL having only a slightly larger appearance than its little brother.

Frames of similar size were displayed above and below each screen, without any of them having a notch.

The duo was supposed to come with a headphone jack at the top of its frame, a design feature missing from the Google Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL standard.

There seemed to be only one front-facing camera on the front of the equipment, which meant that the new phone might not take advantage of the snapper wide-angle selfie offered by the more upscale handset of Google .

The Pixel 3a should have a 5.6-inch screen, while the Pixel 3a XL should have a 6-inch screen.

In addition, it seems that both men claim a battery of similar size to that of their respective premium brothers.

WinFuture insisted that the Pixel 3a could be sold for around € 450, which is about £ 389 at the time of writing.

The new Pixel hardware recently announced by Google is expected to be announced on May 7th.
