The Southern California police said that a shooting in a Costco Wholesale store on Friday night had left one dead and three injured.

The suspect was arrested by police in Corona, about 80 km east of downtown Los Angeles.

Injured people, including an officer on duty from another ward, were transported to unknown hospitals.

Lieutenant Jeff Edwards said the shooter was arguing with someone when he pulled out his gun and killed him.

Witnesses described terror and chaos when several gunshots sounded. Buyers and employees hid in a refrigerated room or were stamped outside.

Police said that the alleged gunman claimed to have been injured and was taken to the hospital.

The gunman opened fire on Friday night at the Corona store, about 80 km east of downtown Los Angeles.

Lieutenant Jeff Edwards said the shooter was arguing with someone when he pulled out his gun and killed him. Two other people were injured.

KCAL-TV reported that a man whom we saw was arguing with a woman with a child in the store when about eight shots were heard.

Witnesses described the terror and chaos when the gunshots rang out. Buyers and employees hid in a refrigerated room or were stamped outside.

Police said that the alleged gunman was arrested, injured, and taken to hospital.

The living conditions of the wounded were not immediately released.
