US learns opponents in U-20 World Cup group stage

The U-20 national men's team in the United States have learned their opponents of the group stage for this summer's World Cup Sunday. The Concacaf Champions earned a spot in pot A and were drawn against Nigeria, Ukraine and Qatar.

It is always difficult to judge how hard a group of under 20s is at the surface, simply because it is almost impossible to know the quality of young players in each country. Their teams under 20 do not always reflect the level of talent of their senior national teams.

What we do know is that the United States has a very talented group eager to make itself known on the world stage.

This year's tournament will take place in Poland and will run from May 23 to June 15.

The United States will start their first match against Ukraine on May 24. Their second match will be against Nigeria on May 27. And their last group match will be played against Qatar on May 30th.
