US stocks slid on Tuesday after President Trump threatened to apply additional tariffs on Chinese products in anticipation of the planned summit between leaders of the world's two largest economies.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average Index fell 202 points, or 0.8%, to 24,438 points shortly after the opening bell, while the S & P 500 index lost 0, 5%. The Nasdaq Composite also stumbled, losing 0.8%.
