SYDNEY – The 12-man US Men's World Cup squad was finalized on Saturday after determining Kyle Kuzma's (Los Angeles Lakers) ankle injury would prevent participation in the next competition.

The official team of the United States Football World Cup in 2019 includes 2016 Olympic gold medalist Harrison Barnes (Sacramento Kings); Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics); Joe Harris (Brooklyn Nets); Brook Lopez (Milwaukee Bucks) and Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks); Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz); 2014 World Cup Gold Medalist, Mason Plumlee (Denver Nuggets), Marcus Smart (Boston Celtics); Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics); Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers); Kemba Walker (Boston Celtics); and Derrick White (San Antonio Spurs).

The coaching staff of the United States Basketball World Cup team consists of the United States head coach and San Antonio Spurs, Gregg Popovich, of the assistant coach of the United States and the head coach of Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr, Atlantic Hawks coach, Lloyd Pierce, and the United States.
