On Sunday, the Denver Broncos crisscross the country to bow early in the afternoon against the New York Jets at Meadowlands. After a disappointing home defeat by division rivals Kansas City Chiefs, the Broncos are looking to bounce back from their weakest opponent so far.
New York started the 2018 season with an absolute bang, beating the Detroit Lions 48-17. The Jets did the work in all phases of Week 1: two touchdowns, two touchdowns, a choice of six and a return touchdown that led to a complete evisceration of the Lions.
But success soon stopped there. The Jets have only been able to accumulate 41 points in their last three games, including two games in which they have failed to score any touchdowns. The division of these two competitions was an embarrassing defeat against Cleveland on Thursday night, an evening in which the Browns won their first game in 635 days in total.
Offensively, the Jets are ranked 29th in the NFL, averaging a mere 289.2 yards per game in attack. The Jets racing game has also struggled. With a two-header offense, New York is tied for 25th with an average of 88 yards per game.

New York, however, fared much better than expected in defense. The Jets are ranked 12th in the league by allowing only 355.5 yards per game, while keeping their opponents at 22.2 points per game.
This secondary is as opportunistic as possible. With more interceptions (6) than allowed touchdown passes (5), "New Jack City" is flying for football with the intention of removing it.
They also only allow 247.2 yards per game in the air, which is enough for 13th in the championship. However, Denver will take a break on the offensive because the Jets have just received the news that their best half coverage Trumaine Johnson was dismissed with a tense quadriceps.
Denver has another chance to see their duo being run from Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay cross the mark of the century too. Although the Jets side team was extremely successful in winning the game, they fought the race this season.
Despite some gaming capabilities (which we will see), New York has averaged 108.2 yards per game on the ground, as well as four touchdowns. The Broncos have the right to get out of the two-game series this week. Denver fits well with the Jets, but has a few key players that they need to set high on their game plans.
