For the 13th time this year, DeKalb County has found another rabid raccoon, county officials said Monday.
The raccoon was captured Tuesday in the 600 block of Farrar Court in Decatur and tested positive for rabies, DeKalb County spokesman Andrew Cauthen said in a news release.
The county has found rabid raccoons in Dunwoody, Decatur, Tucker, Stone Mountain, Avondale Estates and Lithonia.

Officials urge residents to get their pets vaccinated and eliminate food stations and access to garbage cans.
