An Israeli teenager died tragically while he was trying to take a selfie while he was visiting Yosemite National Park.

Tomer Frankfurter, 18, fell hundreds of meters away from his death while trekking near the top of Nevada Falls, nearly 600 feet high, in California Park.

The fall of Frankfurter was deemed an accident by Deputy Coroner Andrea Stewart, CBS reported.

Frankfurter's body will be transferred to Israel, the Jerusalem Post reported.

This is not the first time anyone falls to death trying to take an epic selfie.

An Indian man, Prabhu Bhatara, was killed in May while trying to take a selfie with a bear.

A 16-year-old man reportedly died after falling 65 feet from a popular Australian cliff, Cape Solander, while he was taking a selfie in July.
