CHASKA, Minnesota – Investigators say they found a car and two bodies in a pond in Chaska, Minnesota, shortly after resuming Sunday's search for two young women missing early Saturday. CBS Minnesota reports that their families reported that Bushra Abdi, 19, and Zenyab Abdalla, 19, both from Shakopee, Minnesota, left their workplace early Saturday and then called 911 to get help. They have not been seen since.

Family members say that they both work at night and usually meet in the Chaska area during the lunch break. One works in Shakopee and the other in Chaska, both near Minneapolis.

The investigation turned into a swamp near a local road on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said that a silver car had been found in the swamp, though it did not confirm whether it was the car in which the women were when they were reported missing.

Officials also said that two bodies had been found in the water, but they did not specify if they were those of the two missing women.

Jamie Yucas of CBS News said the Somali community in Minneapolis was very unhappy. The leaders of this community say that the bodies were those of Abdi and Abdalla.
