FX's "Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" has won several first wins at the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The ceremony began Saturday night at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Trophies in more than 50 categories will be distributed tonight at 5 pm-7: 30 pm PT Ceremony, the premiere of the two-night presentation of the Bravo Creative Arts Television Academy. Among the awards to be presented today are the guest actor and actress for comedy and drama series, as well as the best TV movie.
The Saturday and Sunday ceremonies will be broadcast on September 15th on the FXX cable.
HBO's "Game of Thrones" is Emmy's pitcher this year with a total of 22 nominations. NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and HBO's "Westworld" are behind with 21 offers.
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 17th, also at the Microsoft Theater. Michael Che and Colin Jost, hosts of Saturday Saturday Live.
