What afternoon it was for Harry Kane. The 24-year-old became the second player in England to score in his first two appearances at the FIFA World Cup ™ and the third to score a hat-trick in the competition after Geoff Hurst and Gary Lineker.
Kane rose to five goals in two games – the same total that pocketed Thomas Muller's adidas Golden Boot in South Africa 2010 – and overtook Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo in the race for that same prize at Russia 2018. And, most importantly, he helped England beat Panama 6-1 for its biggest win in World Cup history and to take the lead in Group G. Kane nevertheless remained modestly usual.
"Obviously, it's going well right up here," said Budweiser's match man. "There is still a long way to go.
"The most important thing is to win games, and if my goals help my team to win, then that's the perfect situation.There are a lot of good players right behind me." I hope I will be able to continue and get into Thursday's match. "

Kane has been touted as having all the ingredients to become the hero of England before leaving for Russia: leadership, great game experience, a keen eye for a goal and the desire to be the best. ;to be the best. Now these features really seem to be getting closer.
His pursuit of the Golden Boot, whether his modesty allows him to admit it or not, is becoming more and more realistic with every game.
