NEW YORK – The Boston Yankees and Red Sox won the best of the three games in the Division Division of the American League after dividing two games in the weekend at Fenway Park.
The next two games will be played at Yankee Stadium on Monday and Tuesday, and the Yankees have every chance of winning as they are 7-0 at home in the last two years, counting for their Wild Card Game victory over the Oakland Athletics last week.
But the Yankees have tremendous respect for the Red Sox, which have won the top 108 games in the major league this season.
"You like to feel good at home, but it's a very good club (in Boston)," said Zach Britton, of the Yankees' relief team. "You can not take them lightly. You can not feel comfortable coming home.
What can we expect?
The answer may lie in the dissection of what has happened so far in this series of confrontations between the Yankees and their secular rival.
Here are 12 crucial things we learned up here at the Yankees:

Judge back in 2017
The best thing that happened in the playoffs for the Yankees was the reemergence of good field player Aaron Judge to what he was last season when he recorded a record of 52 homers as a rookie.
Judge had a very good second season before fracturing his right wrist on July 26 and it was impressive to hit the ball frequently when he came back for the last two weeks of the season.
But the judge of 2017, who often carried the Yankees, did not show up before the playoffs.
The judge beat the Yankees and defeated Oakland in his Wild Card Game with a first-run match. He still plunged into the ninth inning of the Yanks defeat with a circuit that allowed him the igniter of victory in match 2 with another circuit in the first leg.
It was the first time this season that Judge has conceded three straight games and, by taking part in the first three games of the Yankees, he has made a little history.
Only two other Yanks dominated in the first three games of a playoff series, Hank Bauer in the 1952 World Series and Johnny Mize in the 1958 World Series.
