Three weeks after the start of the season, here's what we know: the Patriots, at 1-2, are three to the last place in the division. This is not the fault of Tom Brady, who has more to do with a really terrible defense, but at age 41, Brady could finally be looking for the best career in the history of the NFL. And if it is, the Patriots may want to think about Tom's life. That's why we have them recruiting a quarterback in the middle of the first round.
And three years after Broncos general manager John Elway traded in the first round to get Paxton Lynch, Denver is back in the quarterback business; Case Keenum has signed a two-year contract and there is no guarantee that it will replicate the success it has had in Minnesota in 2017.
More on the NFL
And because you're wondering, we ordered the picks based on each team's records this season and then ranked them based on their 2017 rankings. That's why the The Buccaneers (2-1 this season but 5-11 last season), for example, choose eight spots ahead of the Eagles (2-1 this season, but the Super Bowl champions last season).

1. Houston Texans
Jonah Williams, LT, Alabama. Tackle Julian Davenport was beaten four times in Sunday's loss to the Giants and two more times the week before. Despite the efforts of Texans to strengthen the offensive line during the off season, the addition of determining factors is a priority.
2. Oakland Raiders
Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State. The Raiders are 0-3 and after each defeat, new (former) coach Jon Gruden lamented the glaring absence of a pass or the incredible difficulty of replacing one of the league's top players . So, the team tries to forget Khalil Mack by calling on Nick Bosa.
3. Cardinals of Arizona
Ed Oliver, DT, Houston. When you start 0-3 and you have a differential of under-54 points, you desperately need help everywhere. The Cardinals have their quarterback franchise in Josh Rosen, who will make his first start in week 14, so why not start rebuilding the defense with arguably the best player in the draft.
4. New York Giants
Greedy Williams, BC, LSU. The former first-round pick, Eli Apple, had big problems last season (with the rest of the team) and although Janoris Jenkins is still two years from now until the end of the season, there's a need obvious depth to the cornerback.
5. Colts of Indianapolis
Devin White, LB, LSU. The Colts have included linebacker Darius Leonard in the second round this year and White is fortunate to be a special talent at the next level.
6. New York Jets
Rashan Gary, DL, Michigan. Gary, an athletic and explosive player who can tackle the quarterback, would join a defensive line that already includes the former first round of the list, Leonard Williams.
7. San Francisco 49ers
Neal Harry, WR, Arizona State. The 49ers have lost Jimmy Garoppolo for the season, but on his return, he will still need playmakers at a place where there is not much depth.
8. Detroit Lions
Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson. You would not have known how to watch the Lions beat the Patriots Sunday night, but the defense, which was supposed to improve under Matt Patricia, was among the worst in the league in the first two weeks. That changes with Ferrell, one of the most disruptive gamers of the project.
9. Seattle Seahawks
Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss. The Seahawks have needs on both sides of the ball, but as Russell Wilson continues to run for his life on a weekly basis, improving the offensive line will remain a priority.
10. Buffalo Bills
A J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss. Well good. We are as guilty as anyone for canceling the bills. But after destroying the Vikings, maybe Josh Allen will have a chance to succeed. That is why he will need a deep and reliable threat, which Kelvin Benjamin seems unable to be.
11. Los Angeles Chargers
Drew Lock, QB, Missouri. Regarding how he plays in the pocket and throws football, Philip Rivers, 36, seems to be exactly the same player he was in 2004. But we do not think he will play. forever, that's why the Chargers need to think about their future after Rivers.
12. Dallas Cowboys
Deandre Baker, BC, Georgia. The Cowboys attack can be described as a work in progress, so help off or along the offensive line are considerations here, but adding a cornerback is also good news.
13. Atlanta Falcons
Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson. In good health, the Falcons have many young physical playmakers at line and high school. Lawrence would add that youth and physics along the defensive interior.
14. New England Patriots
Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon. Tom Brady says he wants to play a few more seasons, but at one point, the Patriots must commit to finding his replacement. And it's not as if New England were in the first round this year.
15. Browns Cleveland
Dr. Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State. The Browns have invested heavily in upgrading this defense in recent years and Jones is adding the element of an inward rush.
16. Green Bay Packers
Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma. Brown is a legitimate serious threat who can constantly put the secondaries under pressure, adding another piece of ground to Aaron Rodgers' arsenal.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers
Amani Oruwariye, BC, Penn State. The 2016 first round pick Artie Burns has been sidelined after his second week effort against the Chiefs and it does not appear that he will soon reach his draft level. Thus, for the second time in two sets, the Steelers defend themselves in the first round.
18. Minnesota Vikings
Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama. The offensive line is also needed, but Davis can dominate the line of scrimmage and join one of the best defenses in the league.
19. Oakland Raiders (via Bears)
Jeffery Simmons, DT, State of Mississippi. The Raiders defense review continues for a unit that placed 27th in Week 3 and was the last to die against the race, according to Football Outsiders statistics.
20. Denver Broncos
Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State. Haskins seemed early and we know that Case Keenum is not the long-term solution in Denver. After defeating Paxton Lynch badly, John Elway will be under pressure to identify the next quarterback of the team.
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mount Sweat, DE, Mississippi State. The Bucs' pass has improved with the arrival of Vinny Curry and Jason Pierre-Paul, but the work is still underway. Sweat makes a lot of sense here.
22. Washington Redskins
Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo. Alex Smith relied heavily on his half and tight innings to start the season and although tight winger Jordan Reed is explosive when he is healthy, it is much easier to win in the NFL with a balanced offense.
23. Cincinnati Bengals
Noah Fant, TE, Iowa. It is unclear whether Tyler Eifert will ever come back to form and with the Bengals' offensive line coming together, the team can focus on Andy Dalton's entourage with field playmakers.
24. Titans of Tennessee
Brian Burns, DE, State of Florida. The Titans seem to have won the gold medal with the second round pick, Harold Landry, and they will reserve it with Burns.
25. Ravens of Baltimore
Zach Allen, DE, Boston College. Terrell Suggs still plays at a high level but he's 35, so the Ravens have to start preparing his replacement.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars
Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina. If the Jaguars are finally comfortable letting Blake Bortles throw the ball, they will have to give him big game targets.
27. Green Bay Packers (via Saints)
Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama. While the Packers have invested in their backs in the final tries, the former Ha Ha Clinton-Dix team has been disappointed.
28. Carolina Panthers
Joe Jackson, DE, Miami. Like last week. Julius Peppers is 38 years old and Mario Addison is 31 years old. Although Peppers may play another decade, the Panthers take Allen as an assurance that he could not.
29. Philadelphia Eagles
Josh Allen, OLB, Kentucky. There are not many holes in this team, but there is always room for a fast linebacker.
30. Miami Dolphins
Mitch Hyatt, OT, Clemson. The Dolphins took a quarter in our previous trials, but Ryan Tannehill is 11-5 with Adam Gase as coach. If dolphins can keep it healthy, maybe this thing can work.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama. The attack is obviously not the problem in Kansas City and Williams, who may be a leading scorer on the track, would help strengthen one of the league's worst defenses.
32. Los Angeles Rams
Dalton Risner, OT, State of Kansas. The Rams need the linebacker, but Andrew Whitworth is 36 and Risner would be too good to let him go.
