25 Top Coaches Survey: VAC Teams Get Closer to Top 15 University Football

There is no change at the top of the coaching survey after the 10th week, the No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Notre Dame have all had their place in the updated football rankings university.

The Iowa State had the biggest jump of the week, moving 19 places to 25th after beating Kansas 27-3 on Saturday. The Cyclones are one of four Big 12 teams participating in the coaching survey this week. They join No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 8 West Virginia and No. 19 Texas. The Longhorns lost four places in the standings after losing at home to the Mountaineers.

The most important winner of the conference was ACC, which now has three top-15 teams, thanks to Syracuse and Boston College progression over the past two weeks. The Eagles, now at 7-2 after beating Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, are holding Clemson in one of the biggest games of the season for both teams next Saturday night at Chestnut Hill.

Utah saw the biggest drop in all coaching polls, losing eight places to 24th after losing 18 times to Arizona State.
