29-year-old woman in North Carolina dies from flu-related complications

A 29-year-old lawyer became the third flu-related death in North Carolina this year after suffering an "apparent cardiac event" related to the virus. Scarlett VanStory Levinson, a lawyer with Levinson & Axford, died Tuesday after 10 days of illness, reported ABC 11.

A friend reportedly said at the point of press that she would have at one point asked for help for urgent care. Her husband would have discovered that she had fainted on the bathroom floor after returning from a jog.
