One of Notre Dame's goals this season was to win all of her home games. The Irish in third placed a perfect 6-0 season at Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday night beating the Florida State 42-13.
Here are three takeaways from the game:

"Our defense has allowed us to get off to a good start," Kelly said.
Later in the quarter, Daelin Hayes recovered a fumble. This allowed Justin Yoon to score 26 goals to extend his lead to 17-0.
3. Irish size.
Notre Dame has won at least 10 games in consecutive seasons for the first time in three years, from 1991 to 1993. The Irish have a more ambitious goal in mind: the college football game.
Florida State played two contenders in the Irish playoffs and Clemson. The Tigers, second in the standings, beat the Seminoles 59-10 on Oct. 27 in Tallahassee, Florida.
"They play good football," said Willie Taggart, Florida State coach, about Notre Dame and Clemson. "They execute and they do not fight."
The Seminoles also faced the next opponent of Our Lady, No. 13 Syracuse. The Orange (8-2) won 30-7 on September 15 at Carrier Dome.
