Three men, all suspected of being in their late teens or early twenties, were shot dead Sunday morning in the lobby of a white castle, west of Detroit. the police said.

The triple homicide occurred around 12:25 pm inside White Castle, in the 6300 block of West Warren, just west of Livernois.

The police arrived at the scene to find the three victims who no longer answered in the lobby of the restaurant. Bullet holes riddled the windows of the restaurant. The handguns were recovered.

While the restaurant serves guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the lobby is open to the public only from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, depending on the schedule posted on the front door.

In the middle of Sunday morning, there was a window on the east side of the building, as well as doors on the west side, showing about 20 bullet holes.

Posters posted in the steering wheel and collection windows indicate that the store will reopen at 9:00 am Monday. Employees refused to answer the front door when cleaning broken windows in the restaurant or spoke to a reporter on Sunday.

An employee of Cunningham Glass and Door was cleaning the broken windows of the restaurant window.

The police have no description of the shooters and the circumstances that preceded the shootings remain unknown.
