CHIPPEWA COUNTY, WIS. (WEAU) – According to the Lake Hallie Police Department, three girls and a woman died after a fatal blow.

The three girls killed are scouts.

A girl remains in critical condition right now.

The driver escaped from the area, but then surrendered.

He is identified as Colton Treu, 21, of Chippewa Falls.

The Lake Hallie Police Service expresses its deepest condolences to the families involved.
