At least 30 people were injured when much of a floor of a party near the Clemson University campus collapsed, leaving people in the underworld. early Sunday morning soil.
According to witnesses, the party organized in the space reserved for the events of an apartment complex was just beginning when the ground collapsed.

No deaths were reported, but police said some of the injured had broken bones. Authorities said a survey on the collapse would continue this week.
Officials from Clemson University said that they had been informed of the situation early Sunday. The university president, Jim Clements, tweeted saying that he's watching the situation. "The whole of our student support system will be available to all affected students," he said.
The property manager, Tal Slann, said that he could not say there was a limit to the number of people allowed in the clubhouse at a time. "I can tell you that there was a party, I can tell you that there was a collapse of the soil," Slann told The Associated Press. "There were wounded, they were not life threatening, no one was trapped."
