The 32 things we learned in the eighth week of the 2018 NFL season:

1. the The deadline to exchange players is 16:00. HE on Tuesday. It's hard to say if teams can be particularly active or if so many of them are still viable, it's quite conceivable that a seller's market simply does not develop. As the 9th week approaches, 17 of the 32 teams in the league have a value equal to or greater than 0.500, while five others are in a .500 game.

Upon entering the night of Sunday, the eighth week was up here without additional time. This is the first season to present an OT during each of the first seven weeks.

Speaking of OT, the Browns are likely to hit the wall. They played bonus football in half of their eight games, but they avoided it in Sunday's 33-18 loss to Pittsburgh. The first two Cleveland defeats this year were all three points. But they lose on average 14 points in three games, despite a loss of three points in overtime against the 7th week.

Move, Franco. Move, bus. Move more … whatever, Leon, you've already made it. After finding the goal zone twice against Cleveland, James Conner became the first Pittsburgh player with three consecutive games to score at least two touchdowns. Conner now has nine in total, two to less than Bell's high water mark for one season.

Despite a slight double-digit advance for the first time this season, the Rams survived the Packers to improve to 8-0 for the first time in 1969.

Sunday's game between Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay and LA's Jared Goff was the first NFL battle against Cal Bear's quarterbacks since … well, if you said Steve Bartkowski against Vince Ferragamo in 1983, you'll win our admiration.

7. The Chiefs failed to score for the first time this season, causing panic in the streets of Kansas City … but only briefly. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes cleared his MVP record with four more TD assists against Denver. He now has a record of 26 points (Alex Smith's total for 2017 for K.C.), which is also a record for the first nine games of a player's NFL.

Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald of the Rams could be the two defensemen for the league, even though they are once again the offensive and defensive player of the year. Gurley scored his 15th TD on Sunday, but showed how much he was a team player by giving up a 16th at the last minute. So he had to land instead of scoring so his team could run in the end. Meanwhile, Donald has collected two more sacks – he has had 10 in his last five games – and could make his teammate Aqib Talib the prophet who predicted that Donald would end with 22.

We understand it was a frenetic weekend for Los Angeles sports … but did not the Coliseum Ground crew avoid the "USC Rams" look? (Or did the old Trojan LB Clay Matthews, who on Sunday urged a crowd very much in favor of the Packers, greased some palms?)

ten. The NBC's "tracer" on the "Sunday Night Football" >> The "Green Zone" of NBC is still terrible.

It took just four games and 10 interceptions, including four Sunday's in Cincinnati, to allow Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston to move from bench to starting formation and back on the bench. He has had at least two interceptions in his last five starts and 17 turnovers in his last six appearances.

The Buccaneers could have the toughest shift decision to sail during the off season. The backup contracts of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Griffin will expire. The Bucs have already chosen Winston's $ 21 million option for 2019, but this could be reduced without any repercussions on the salary caps – provided that it is not hurt – if the franchise decided to restart his position.

Denver's Case Keenum works himself on an INT sequence. He has played at least one in every game this season (10 in total, which is Winston) and, to return to the playoffs of last season with Minnesota, he was eliminated in 10 consecutive games.

Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has scored 15 assists in TD this season, matching his career record as a beloved passer-by Jim McMahon after adding two more in Sunday's Jets defeat. But Trubisky probably did a much better job burying the hearts of Windy City fans with this pre-match sweater "Coach Mitchka".

The Panther QB Cam Newton, considered a "fast dinosaur" by Baltimore S Eric Weddle last week (it was a compliment), went jurassic over the Ravens – descendants of dinosaurs, n & # 39; s. Is not it, William Hayes? – for three touchdowns in Carolina's convincing win 36-21.

Speaking of dinosaurs, it's the Ravens who are flirting with extinction. They have now dropped three of four and currently reside outside the AFC playoffs.

Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson kicked off his first career career with fellow countryman Hayden Hurst in 2018, who scored his first professional touchdown. So, who gets this ball in their trophy case? Considering that this happened in a lost time of an ugly loss, does anyone even want this memory?

Adrian Peterson will not forget Sunday's win over the Giants. The Redskins veteran collected 149 yards rushing past Tony Dorsett for the ninth in the history of the NFL. "AD" also scored twice, including a 64-yard run. Peterson will be 16 years old and his win over Barry Sanders will be his best time in the history of the league.

When the experience of playing in London is important: the Jaguars know for a fact that they would go to nightclubs in the UK (even if they are not sure of the bar tabs).

No matter the experience of playing in London: the Eagles, who are playing their first regular season game overseas, have beaten Jacksonville 24-18. It was the sixth year in a row that the Jags were playing at home at Wembley Stadium.

The Eagles may have found a solution to their puzzle. Rookie Josh Adams – the 6-2, 225 pound – started the year on the training team – racked up 61 yards in nine races on Sunday after totaling 46 yards on his first five appearances .

Jaguars K Josh Lambo's 57-yard career goal was also the longest of all time at Wembley. Let a former football player (Lambo was charged by MLS FC Dallas in 2008) to shine on a football field.

Houston, we have no problem. After losing their first three games, the Texans suddenly have two more wins than anyone in AFC South after winning five straight victories. There remains only one opponent, Washington, who currently holds a winning record.

After seeing them outclass Brock Osweiler and the Dolphins on Thursday, give Texans renewed credit for their courage. Last year, they yielded a second round pick to Cleveland in a salary dump to admit that Osweiler was a $ 72 million mistake – and that was before Deshaun Watson was on the player list from Houston. Clearly, it was the right choice, especially after Watson tied his career record with five assists by becoming the third player in league history (joining the Hall of Fame Kurt Warner and Dan Marino) with at least 30 of his first 15 games.

Damon Harrison made his Lions debut on Sunday with a nice stats line (7 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 sack). Unfortunately, he could not do what his new team really needed as Seattle beat Detroit for 176 yards.

Russell Wilson (14 yards for 17, 248 yards, 3 TDs) finished with a perfect 158.3 QB for the first time in his seven-year career, while the Seahawks beat Detroit for a fourth win in their last five games.

What? We predicted that Seattle would win four games after all …

Congratulations to the Colts, who won their third match. (Sigh … we predicted that they would only have two …)

Congratulations to Indianapolis K Adam Vinatieri. Despite a groin injury, he managed to double Morten Andersen as the all-time leading scorer in the NFL. Vinatieri (2,550 points) will finally join Andersen and Jan Stenerud as the only pure squarekickers in the Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to quarterback Raiders Derek Carr, who scored the first DT of his career Sunday and added three more by air. Yes, his vanquished club of Oakland lost, but Carr kept the Raiders competitive against Indianapolis and hardly looked like a guy who had lost the confidence of his teammates.

31. Finally, congratulations to the new offensive coordinator of the Cardinals, Byron Leftwich. In the first decisive game of Leftwich, Arizona managed 321 yards for the best of the season in an 18-15 game against San Francisco.

Hey, @BortlesFacts, your favorite quarterback finished on Sunday 24 times, his biggest number in five visits to London. (Got to look for that one …) BB5 also launched his 100th career win as the fastest Jaguar (70 games) to reach that plateau … meaning, by and large, he beat Mark Brunell .. because Leftwich only had 51 as a Jag.
